We keep a dedicated plus size collection, with our traditional kimono going up to around 5L — the widest range in the shop. Lace and furisode designs are also available in larger sizes, up to 2L and 3L. Rather than let you find out at the counter, we would rather tell you now which line will have the most choice for you. Included in Plus Size Kimono Rental Experience
Every rental includes dressing by our staff, hairstyling with accessories, obi, tabi socks, sandals and a matching bag. Dressing takes around 25 to 30 minutes. If you would like makeup as well, allow another 40 to 50 minutes.
Our staff dress guests of every size daily and will adjust the wrapping method to suit your shape — this is ordinary work for us, not a special request.

What sizes do you carry for plus size kimono?
Our plus size collection goes up to approximately 5L, fitting a bust of around 130 cm and hips of around 140 cm. The widest sizes are in our traditional kimono line, which also has the largest selection. If you are unsure where you fall, send us your measurements and we will tell you exactly what is available.
How do I check my size before I arrive?
Message us on WhatsApp with your height, weight, bust and hip measurements in centimetres. We will confirm which kimono are available in your size and can set pieces aside for you before you come. This takes a few minutes and removes the guesswork entirely.
Do plus size kimono cost more?
No. Plus size kimono are priced exactly the same as any other rental — traditional from ¥5,000, lace from ¥7,000, furisode from ¥10,000. Size does not change the price.
Are all kimono designs available in plus size?
Not all of them, and we would rather be direct about it. Our traditional kimono line carries the widest sizes and the largest number of plus size pieces, up to around 5L. Lace and furisode designs are available in larger sizes as well, but generally up to 2L or 3L. If you have your heart set on a furisode, message us first and we will check what is in stock in your size.
I'm tall — will the kimono be long enough?
Yes. We can dress guests up to around 180 to 185 cm in height. Kimono length is adjusted during dressing, so height is usually easier to accommodate than width. Let us know your height when you book so we can prepare the right pieces.
Will I be styled differently from other guests?
No. The same stylists, the same hairstyling options, the same 25 to 30 minutes for dressing. Our team dresses guests of every size every day — the wrapping method is adjusted to suit your shape, which is ordinary work for us rather than a special request.
